A night of art and sound presented by MOM for Brunswick Music Festival (Melb, AUS) as part of Autumnal Equinox. The event was inspired by the Pagan calendar wheel, with four artists each creating work based on a different seasonal marker. Mim’s contribution responded to the quiet, reflective energy of winter - drawing on themes of stillness, hibernation, and the unseen. Through airbrushed surfaces and subtle sculptural forms, the work evoked a sense of suspended time and transformation, in dialogue with the longer seasonal cycles at the heart of the exhibition. Mim’s sculptural installation was staged alongside a live set by YL Hooi, creating an immersive, seasonal pairing of sound and form.
